The Opportunity
This role has been created as part of a structured succession plan for a long-serving Finance Director, who intends to retire in Summer 2028.
Working closely with an experienced, ACA-qualified Finance Director, you will benefit from:

The Role
A hands-on, broad Financial Controller role within a dynamic SME manufacturing environment:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Weekly sales and profitability reporting
- Cashflow forecasting and multi-currency treasury management
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial control
- Oversight of purchase and sales ledger activities
- Product costing and margin analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Key contact for external financial review
- Supporting cross-functional projects across operations, procurement, and sales
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded and proactive finance professional:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or product-led environments
- Strong systems and reporting capability
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Motivated by progression and long-term career development

Package
- £55,000 – £65,000 initial salary
- Discretionary Annual Bonus
- Salary review after 6 months
- 38-hour working week (Lunchtime Friday finish) including flexible working hours.
